President's Letter - May 2025

It’s the chaotic and amazing month of May! Look, my letter is a week late! How very May!

In all that is the end of the school year, I still want to take a moment to reflect on what an incredible year it's been—and to thank each and every one of you for being a part of it.

This year has included so much joy and laughter and even some INCREDIBLY rough times for all of Burbank and Los Angeles. Thank you for being with us every step of the way. I am so glad this is our community. I couldn’t be prouder to be a part of Edison with all of you, nor could I be prouder of our PTA. I want to send a huge thank you, especially to this year’s executive board. I couldn’t have survived any of this without you and especially my VP, Erin Levitt.

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU helped make this year happen. Simply by joining the PTA, you’ve helped us to advocate for your children, host unforgettable events, support our amazing teachers and staff, and strengthen the sense of community that makes Edison so special.

To our volunteers: thank you for your time, energy, and heart.

To our teachers and staff: thank you for your unwavering dedication to our children.

To Mrs. Cody, thank you for jumping in and working with us—I’m glad we did our first year as principal and president together.

On behalf of the PTA, thank you again for a fantastic year. And thank you for bringing me on again as president next year. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!

With gratitude,
